Richard Wheeler Sr. was born January 9th 1957 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was one of eight children of the late Charlotte J. Wheeler and Herbert G. Wheeler. Richard was called home to our Heavenly Father on May 5th, 2021 in Brockton, Massachusetts. He was educated in the Boston public school system until middle school and later graduated from Natick high school in Natick, Massachusetts.
Richard was a proud union and MBTA veteran and served
For over 20 years and remains a active member of Boston Carmen’s Union, Local 589 and the Amalgamated Transit Union even in his passing.
He was a master musician, poet and avid reader who loved to play the piano, saxophone, flute, clarinet and what ever type of instrument he could get his hands on. He also enjoyed his early morning reading and poetry sessions with his dear friend Bob Walthall of Roxbury.
He loved trips to the beach with his wife and enjoyed morning walks with his cats Fortune and Lucky. He loved birds and will be missed by Blue, Green and yellow.
Richard was the beloved husband of Zonia E. Salas-Wheeler, father of Miles “Masspike” Wheeler, grandfather of Miles Wheeler II, Phoenix Sky Wheeler, Isabella Charlotte Wheeler; brother of Roberta, Diana, Deborah, Herbert Jr., Lester and the late Matthew Wheeler and Charlotte Biggs. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, colleagues and amazing friends that he has touched from around the world.

While giving them a conversation for confirmation of information based on the situation with no manipulation in the vise and the verse all while socially adjusting to negotiate in my environment.
