Zelda Lynch Obituary

Zelda Patricia Lynch was born in Barbados, West Indies on October 20, 1939 to the late Robert and Ottalese Bostic. Zelda was the sole child of their union. She attended St Paul’s Primary School and immigrated to England in the early 60s to obtain an education in Nursing. Upon her graduation she relocated and worked as a registered nurse in Toronto, Canada. Later in the early 70’s Zelda moved to Boston, Massachusetts to be closer to her family. Zelda’s experience would bring her to Beth Israel hospital where she worked in the Health Care Associates department for many years. As Zelda began to establish roots in Boston, she visited St Cyprian's church and became a member.

Upon joining the church, she became very active with singing in the choir and helping with functions that served the local and greater community of Boston. She also love to cook and bake authentic Bajan food, sing and dance in a local group “Barbados ah cum frum” and host multiple parties. A strong presence for fashion, elegance and a social life was her style. On June 4, 1994 Zelda married John Richard Lynch the love of her life. Together they enjoyed traveling the world to places such as England, Paris, Switzerland and Ghana a few of her favorites.
