"On Monday, November 21, 2022, Vireta Eliza Ferguson, otherwise called Ms. Vie or Mama Vie went to sleep awaiting the return of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Ms. Vie was born on June 12, 1932, in Wanstead District, Clarendon, Jamaica to Sarah Williams and Joseph Lindsay. She is the first-born child from the union. Her siblings in order of birthdate from her father’s side of the family are: Alphanso, William, Josephine, Lustina, Fearon (now deceased), Jasmyn, Selvin, Yvette (now deceased), Delores, Karen and Fanny from her mother’s side.
After All Age school, she became a homemaker and moved to Vere, Clarendon where she met the love of her life, Thomas Ferguson, better known as “Mr. Black” (now deceased). The union with Mr. Black produced three (3) children, Isaiah (Bunny), Sonia (now deceased), and Sylvester (Sil).
Ms. Vie lived a full, rewarding, long and courageous life reaching an age of 90. On November 21, 2022 she took her last breath leaving behind to mourn her siblings, sons, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great grandchild and numerous family members and close friends."
