Vere St. Elmo Bowen

Vere St. Elmo Bowen was the youngest child of the late Arthur Cecil Bowen and Carol Violet (Bedford) Bowen.  Vere was born on Saturday September 20th, 1958 in the parish of St. Thomas, Barbados West Indies.  He succumbed to his death at Tufts Medical Center due to COVID complications. 

Vere began his early education at Sharon Primary School and then continued his tertiary education at Combermere Secondary School.  At nineteen years of age, Vere migrated to the United States of America where he continued his pursuit of higher education and later enlisted in the United States Army.                           .  

On Thursday October 14th, 2021 Vere ended his earthly life’s journey here with us.  Vere leaves to cherish his memory, his son Jason Bowen, his siblings Victor Bedford of Barbados, Keith Bowen of Barbados, Rudolph Bowen of Massachusetts, Arna Foster of Canada, Coral Bowen of Barbados, Trevor Bowen of Massachusetts, Joyce Cadogan of Barbados and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
