Tymysha Jandel Sheffield, better known as Jandy, was born March 16, 1981, in Boston MA to parents Vivian Sheffield and Theodore Sheffield Jr. She was the oldest child of four. She attended John O’Bryant high school where she participated in JROTC and was a valued member of their swim team. She then finished high school at Boston Day and Evening Academy.
After high school she obtained her associate degree in medical administration from Bryman Institute. While attending college she had her son Jayden which did not distract her from completing her degree and in fact motivated her even more to finish. Jandy was a loving and caring mother who continued to strive to reach her goals each and every day regardless of the obstacles in her path. She obtained an additional certificate in Microsoft office to enhance her skills and further her career in administration while also completing her certification in bartending. This certification eventually led her to work at Vincents in Randolph where she was well loved.
Jandy was known to be the life of the party and lit up every room she entered with her big smile, personality, and comedic nature. You could usually hear her distinct laugh before you even see her. She loved to joke and no matter who you were, trust me Jandy always had a way to make you laugh. That’s just naturally who she was. She loved to laugh, dance, and support her loved ones. She was the person that enthusiastically made her presence known and kept in good communication with everyone she came to love.
Jandy was never afraid to branch off and try new things. She started writing a book about her life and also wanted to attempt stand-up comedy. She always made sure to do things her way and remain her authentic self.
Jandy was truly one of a kind and to know her was to love her. You can always count on her being there for you. She may show up late, but she always made it. We remember & celebrate her humor, her love and living her best for life.
Jandy leaves to mourn: Son Jayden Sheffield, Parents Vivian (Palmer) Sheffield and Theodore Sheffield Jr, Brothers Andre Sheffield and Theodore Sheffield III, Niece Nayomi Carter-Sheffield, Nephew Amir Sheffield, God Son Anthony Sheffield, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
