Obituary
It is with profound sadness, after a long full life, that we announce that Susie E. Trimmier, age 101 of Weymouth MA, formerly of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2023. She was the beloved grandmother of Leigh S. Merritt and her husband Ishmail and great-grandmother of Peyton S. Merritt. She was treasured by her daughter-in-law Linda Frank Trimmier (and the Frank family) and daughter-in-law Gail Snowden. Susie was preceded in death by her husband Roscoe, Sr. and sons Roscoe, Jr, and Donald Eugene.
Susie grew up, married, and raised her children in Charlotte. She had many family members and friends there, as well as colleagues from her time working at the Eastman Kodak Company. Following her husband’s death, she moved to Massachusetts to live near her sons and their families. She loved taking walks and watching baseball and basketball. Her greatest joy was her family, and she was so proud of the accomplishments of her sons and their families. Her life blessed us all and she will be greatly missed. Her legacy will be her devotion to family, friends, and community.
