Stephanie Perry Obituary

Stephanie (Tina) Lee West-Perry was born February 4, 1967, in Boston, Massachusetts to Morris R. Perry (deceased) and Lois H. Perry of Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Boston Public Schools graduating from West Roxbury High School, in 1985.

Stephanie loved children and would pursue several certificates as a Childcare Provider. In order to do so, she attended classes at Wheelock College for Program Family Child Care and Bunker Hill Community College for Childhood Growth and Development.  She would work several jobs in the childcare sector and eventually own and operate her very own child care called, ‘Tina’s Tiny Tots Daycare.’

Stephanie’s life would seem too short to many, but to those who were touched by her, understood that the quality of her existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which she lived. Her big smile brought so much joy to our family.  Eventually, she would be diagnosed with a kidney disease.  Although her kidney condition and her dialysis treatments made her weak physically, that never stopped her from enjoying life and would never miss time with family.  She had a loving spirit that never changed no matter what was occurring in her life. She loved attending to her plants. She was passionate about cooking, always making fantastic meals for the family gatherings.  Playing poker and cards or any games with the family was her highlight of the times together.  She was always ready and willing to play anything as a family.  She grew up and, on several occasions, enjoyed candlepin bowling.

A huge void has been placed in the heart of our entire family. A void that cannot be replaced, but she will surely continue live in the deepest most intimate places in our hearts and in the hearts of so many more.

Stephanie is survived by her husband David West, mother Lois H. Perry; daughters - Karisha Perry, Christina West-Perry, Dayshawna West-Perry, her grandson Dahshien Perry, brother - Maurice and his wife Michelle Perry, sisters -  Kimberly Perry, Angela and her husband Lon Nelson, Deidre Sligh.
