Sheila RoseMaureen Stewart
March 7, 1946 - Forever in Our Hearts
Sheila RoseMaureen Stewart, a pioneer in her family and a woman of many passions, left an unforgettable legacy.
She was a gardener whose flowers mirrored her nurturing spirit, a crossword enthusiast, and a traveler at heart. Sheila's dream of visiting Puerto Rico remained a cherished aspiration. Her kitchen was a place of joy, where her baking and famous pineapple wine brought people together.
Her dedication was unwavering, seen through her roles as a deaconess at Mattapan Baptist and her 30-year tenure at Harvard School of Public Health. Even after retirement, she continued to kindle young minds by volunteering at a local elementary school.
Sheila's kindness knew no bounds, extending her love and support to family, community, and all she encountered. Her home was a haven for her nieces and nephews, a testament to the love she shared. In our memories,
Sheila's spirit lives on—a beacon of love, generosity, and unwavering support.
