Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Ms. Ruby Smith was called home to rest on Wednesday October 21, 2020 while at the Bostonian Nursing Home due to complications from her illness.
Ruby was born on December 25, 1930 in Tennille, GA to Ms. Reba Hardin and Mr. Willie Prosser. She lived in Moncks Corner, SC before settling in Boston, Ma in 1965, at the age of 35.
Ruby lived a good life full of love from family and friends. To know her was to love her. She loved to cook, and gardening was her passion.
Ruby is survived by her 3 daughters, Susie Goodman, Mattapan, MA (wife of John Goodman), Jacqueline Smith, of Roslindale, MA, Helen Smith, Roxbury, MA, (her significant other Richard Rodgers) and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her 3 sons:
Donver Smith, Charlie Prosser and, Sylvester Smith
Ruby will be greatly missed, but never forgotten!!
