After graduation Rose went on to work for the Townson Nursing Home were she got her first taste of what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. She soon transitioned on to work for University Hospital were she met the love of her life Thomas Taldon. During their courtship Rose moved on to work for the MBTA were she worked for 23 years till retirement. On August 17th, 1986 Rose and Tom married and continued to grow their family. During her many years of service at the MBTA Rose used the opportunity to go back to school to fulfill her life long dream of becoming a nurse. Rose educated herself at RCC then matriculated on to Framingham State College were she graduated with her Bachelors in Nursing. One of her first job opportunities was the Deutsches Altenheim which led to many opportunities to follow. Throughout her many years of service Rose made many, many friends along the way. She mentored new nurses and provided guidance to anyone in need. Rose was a very hard working women. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She never believed in doing anything half way. She will always be remembered for her quick wit and wise quotes, like "If you don't have a plan then you plan to fail", "You can only do what you can do, don't worry about what others are doing" and lastly "Success requires preparation". Those who knew and loved Rose will miss her laughter, her advice, her dedicated friendship, her generosity and most of all her oxtail, chicken soup and Texas chili.
