Regina D. Boyd

Regina Denise Boyd daughter of Sandra and James Boyd was born on July 13, 1962 in Boston, MA and departed this life on March 26, 2022 after a long courageous battle with cancer.  Regina grew up in Mattapan and from birth she was very happy and outspoken, with a heart of gold.  She was very passionate about her family and the people closest to her. 

Regina worked as a PCA.  She enjoyed going to church, spending time with her family at cookouts/events, spending time with her kids and grandkids.  She also enjoyed bike riding, shopping, listening to music and getting her hair and eyelashes done often.

She accepted Christ in 2007, and became a member of The Greater Zion Church of God under the leadership of Pastor Sybil Dunwoody.

Regina is preceded in death by her beloved baby brother William Boyd.

The life and memory of our loved  one shall be remembered by her children whom she loved more than anything, Errol, Joshua, Sandra Sinclair and Darrel Strother, Jr.  Her grandchildren; Gregory, Vanessa, Jalen, Yuriah, Errol Jr., Juliana, Kawhi and Liylah.  Siblings; Dawn, Darelle, Angelina, Crystal and James.

She is also survived by uncle Coleman Essex, godmother Ingrid Askew, special niece Danise Boswell, special nephew/son Quenton Boyd, a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and special devoted friends whom she loved dearly.
