Pearl May Lakeman

Pearl Lakeman was born on May 18, 1943 in St. Mary, Jamaica.

She was one of nine children. Pearl had four children of her own, and mothered countless others that came into her life. She died on July 17, 2020 in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.

Pearl worked as a Community Health Aid while living in Jamaica. She migrated to the United States in 1986, where she worked at Lesley University for 28 years. During those years, she maintained the dormitories as well as the faculty offices.

Pearl is survived by her four children, five grand children, and five great grand children. She also leaves behind countless nieces, nephews, and other family members.
