Naimah Ilyas

As the loving wife of Muhammad Ilyas (departed), matriarch of 11 children, grandmother of 19, and great-grandmother of 14, she upheld her role as the heart of her family with grace and steadfastness. Through her nurturing spirit, tireless dedication, and endless love, she instilled in each generation the values of kindness, generosity, respect for oneself, and service to others. She was a guiding light—always ready with a listening ear, a helping hand, and words of encouragement, whether needed or not, but always delivered with sincerity and care.

Her impact extended far beyond her home. She had a deep love for education, counseling and was a lifelong learner, always seeking knowledge and inspiring others to do the same. Her professional journey began as she provided over 10 years of counseling services, care and guidance to women in need at the Charlotte House of Boston (Friends of Framingham) and later joined the Boston Public School System, where she served students with behavior challenges for over 20 years before retiring.
