Mary Emory Corbin, aka, Mary Agnes McCall and “Sister” was born on January 19, 1945 to Mumphred Ivory McCall and Virginia Phillips McCall in Effingham, South Carolina, a small farming community in Florence County. She departed this life on October 6, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age and has spent her life loving the Lord. She was known to so many to be a nurturer and caregiver.
Mary worked for a while but ultimately enjoyed her job as a Home Daycare Provider which she had done for years before retiring.
Mary was always one to nurture, care and protect. Her unconditional love for so many has taught many to show the same love. Her smile, hugs and words of encouragement was just the right medicine for anyone feeling down or upset. She was also a prayer warrior and her faith never wavered. She always believed and knew that God has everything under control.
