Marion E (Jefferson) Clark entered into eternal life on June 10, 2018 in Washington D.C. Mrs Clark was born March 20, 1933, a child of Julian and Verbena Jefferson. She was baptized, at an early age, at Twelfth Baptist Church of Roxbury, MA. Subsequent her move to Washington D.C. she became a member of Mt Pleasant Baptist Church.
While Born in New Kent, VA, she was an avid Bostonian. Marion is a graduate of Girls' High School. She loved hosting and cooking for family gatherings. Among her signature dishes were apple crisp and spaghetti surprise!! Marion 's culinary skills were sharpened during her tenure at the food services division of City of Boston School system. She had a sharp and quick wit and was ready to converse with anyone.
Marion was preceded in death by her husband: Ralph A. Clark; sister: Anna Belle; brothers: Julian, Ralph and Harold; and nephew: Clyde Jefferson, Jr. She is survived by her son Lloyd Young, Jr. (LaVerne) of VA; daughter: Valarie Clark of Washington D.C.; grandchildren: Lloyd A. (Courtney), Keon (Tasha), Sean T. (Erika), and Samantha; & seven great grand children; brother: Clyde (Mary) of VA; nephews: Jeffery, Julian, and Lee; great nephews: Shawn, Jeffery and Clyde, nieces: Laurie and Nina; great nieces: Julia and Jasmine; and God daughter: Nyra; spiritual guardian & friend: Janice Roberts; and a host of relatives and friends.
