Luke Destouche, April 14, 1932 – September 20, 2020 (Age 88). Luke Destouche,
Born and raised on the small island of Dominica (W.I), lived an industrious and stress-
free life. Anything he put his hands to seemed to prosper. He Spent his life as a farmer,
carpenter and fisherman. He had excellent work ethics which contributed to his success
in these areas. He was very amiable toward everyone he encountered, especially within
his small community in Dominica – where he was commonly known as Mr. Lik” (the
creole form of Luke), by all. He never stressed about anything giving essence to the
scriptural verse “do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or
about your body, what you will wear.”
He is survived by seven children, these include three sons: Moses, Albert and Georgius
and four daughters: Ann, Amelia, Mary, and Tazy. He was also survived by nine grand
children and several nieces and nephews and other extended families.
He will be greatly missed.
