Lollita “Lisa” Crystal Campbell Jordan was born on April 5, 1965. She was born to Shirley D. Campbell Kinnitt (Deceased) and Wilbert Campbell (Deceased) of Boston, MA
Lollita grew up in Boston, MA, and she attended Dorchester High School. Lisa had a stroke at 17 years of age, leaving her with degenerative cerebral atrophy that caused impaired mobility and a speech impediment. Lisa never let this condition stop her from caring and loving the many lives she touched. She was called home to be with the Lord on October 11, 2021.
Her love was unconditional to those she shared it with. If you got one smile from Lisa in a lifetime you felt the rays of an angel shining God’s love on you. Her bright smile was filled with comfort, joy, and reassurance that the world wasn’t so bad. A true loss of a beacon of love has been taken from our lives. She was the kind of person that cooked for neighbors, checked on old friends, took care of those she loved, constantly gave and told everyone she loved them. She loved shopping, cooking, eating and good movie night. To those that knew the warmth of her love, it was truly God sent; the love that she gave will be unforgettable.
On September 5, 2021 Lisa was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer after an emergency room visit. After 14 days of being hospitalized she came home into hospice care with her family. She overcame a lifetime of struggles and still firmly held on to her faith even when she couldn’t speak, walk, and eat in the midst of pain. It was a total of 36 days after being diagnosed that she gained her wings.
Lollita leaves to cherish her memory her stepmother Donna Lambert, of Cambridge, MA, her siblings: Darnell A. Campbell, Bryan Campbell (deceased), Douglas Lambert, Rev. Stephanie Castro, (Rev. Pedro), Brandy Lambert, Tieya Lambert and Tiana Lambert all of Massachusetts. Her beloved daughters Kennia Lollita Campbell and Jennay Tina Campbell; her grandchildren Kamya Campbell, Sherard T. Coleman II, and Rahmell Jaiman, all of Boston and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was also a mother to a number of children that were very special to her. She believed everyday was a blessing and greeted it with a smile. She expressed her love as the Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt and Friend we all grew to love & treasure.
