Lillie Mae Green was born in Charleston, South Carolina, November, 10, 1933 to the late Ella (Grant) and Freddie Ferguson. She departed this life peacefully on August 8, 2019. She was the wife of the late Jerry James Green, Sr. Beloved mother of Jerry J. Green, Jr. with his wife Jocelyn of Hyde Park, Maria Green Green of Westwood, Cheryle Green-Walker with her husband Anthony of Hyde Park and the late Michelle Y. Singletary. She was the loving grandmother of Jamel, Jamar, Carmen, Anika and Shakira and dear sister of Marie Wright and Dorothy Bunting. She leaves a host of great-grandchildren, extended family and dear friends.
