Leroy Brazier Chase III was a fun-loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He left this world suddenly on January 22, 2023, at age 70.
He was born to Leroy and Hazel Chase on June 24, 1952. He was the middle child of three children. After graduating from high school, Leroy enlisted in the Air Force. He married Cheryl Lynn Pope in 1970. He later worked at Logan Airport and as a plumber. Leroy loved fishing with his buddies and animals.
He is predeceased by his parents, Leroy and Hazel Chase, wife Cheryl, and sister Sebell. He is survived by his five children, Loray Chase (Larry), Nicole Coakley (Jakie), Donnetta Smith, Rasheena Robinson (Anthony), and Darnell Lockett (Shemika). He also had 15 grandchildren: Sharaad, Sebell, Hadia, Myles, Daniel, Skye, Darnell, Hazel, Isaiah, Anthony, Nia, Dale, Kiara, Tajea, and Arday. He also leaves behind a sister, Debra and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
