We come in celebration of Leroy Champion, Jr., born November 16, 1966 in Englewood, New Jersey to the late Leroy Champion, Sr. and Patricia Catoe Kelley. He was raised in Boston, graduating from Jamaica Plain High School. He dedicated his time as a House Manager at the Roosevelt House located in Worcester, MA, where he also resided. God called him home April 12, 2022 after a lengthy illness. Junior will be remembered for his self-confidence, as well as his many interests including food, watching sports and crime shows.
Junior leaves to honor his memory an abundance of family including his mother Patricia Catoe Kelley and fiancé Kim Harris. His siblings: Dorothy Champion, Jeffrey Champion, Marion Champion, Sharon Champion, and Kadel Leary all of Massachusetts. His nieces and great-nephew: Shanetta Smith, Alandra Champion, Alexandria Champion Israel, and Eric Perkins, Jr. all of Massachusetts. His presence will be remembered by many of other relatives and friends.
Rest in peace to “Uncle 4X”, who was known for enjoying an electric blue sweatsuit or an orange pair of sneakers. Through our hearts, bodies, and souls his spirit will live eternally.
