Latricia Archer, 81, passed away on April 25, 2022, peacefully at home in Hyde Park Massachusetts, surrounded by family. She fought a courageous battle against cancer. Throughout this journey, she never complained or gave up, and embraced love despite the challenges she endured.
Latricia was born February 8, 1941 in Muncie, Indiana. She married and moved to Boston, MA, and raised for children who will continue to honor her legacy by living their fullest life. “Pat” worked in the engineering and financial industry as a data analyst. She pursued higher education and majored in computer science at Roxbury community college. Latricia had an incredible sense of humor with energetic laughter and a young heart at spirit. She was the rock of the family; generous and thoughtful and loved unconditionally. Pat touched many lives in meaningful ways. She was passionate about crocheting afghans, designing them with unique patterns, Style and vibrant colors; gifting countless blankets as a way of spreading love. Pat was a fitness enthusiast who enjoyed dancing, creating art, volunteering and traveling to Bermuda a place she considered home.
Latricia was preceded in death by her mother, Lecester Jones; father, Clarence Harper; sister, Judy Cooper; niece, LaShae Martin.
We will honor her memory; wish her safe travel as she meets the Lord; and celebrate her as our ancestral guide. Ashé! (Amen)
