Kevin Rawley Walcott was born on September 22, 1950 in Boston, Massachusetts. God called Kevin home on Thursday, May 7, 2020.
Kevin was raised in a loving home with his mother, Julia Calloway, stepfather, James Calloway, and three siblings: Lisa, James II, and Rupert in Boston, Massachusetts.
Kevin received his education in the Boston Public schools, graduating from Jamaica Plain High School. After graduating, Kevin attended Northeastern University part-time, while employed at the Federal Reserve bank of Boston. During his employment with the bank, he was drafted into the United States Army. When Kevin received his Honorable Discharge from the Army, he returned to his employment at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and remained there until retirement.
Kevin Always kept a smile on his face. He never got a license to drive, so he did not have a car. However, he would say that they key to his “Cadillac” was his MBTA pass. He was an expert in using the transit system. Kevin enjoyed watching sports on television, reading the daily newspapers, and playing a mean game of cards.
Kevin’s health deteriorated over time, and he battled many chronic health issues, which required him to be admitted to the Benjamin Healthcare Nursing Facility in 2017. On April 29, 2020, Kevin tested positive for the Coronavirus and was transferred to Boston Medical Center for further medical intervention. Kevin fought a good fight; but, unfortunately, passed away on May 7, 2020.

Kevin leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Rupert (Sandra) Walcott, his grand-daughter Kamiinyhree parker, a great-granddaughter Kia Royal Parker, and a host of other family members, including aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
