Kelvin Horsley

Kelvin Horsley was born April 10, 1963 in Boston, MA. He was the second youngest son of the late Harvey L. Horsley Sr. and Reola Mitchell Horsley.

Kelvin attended West Roxbury High School and graduated June 5, 1981. After high school, Kelvin was employed by Meridian hotel of Boston for 18 years. He moved on to work for The Fairmount Copley plaza of Boston, for 21 years until his unexpected passing. He was loved, respected, and admired by his colleagues.

Kelvin loved his family, seafood (especially lobster), weed, playing basketball, and watching sports. When not at work, you could find him at Franklin Park, hanging with his buddies and washing his car until it shined. One of his biggest joys was barbecuing on the grill his delicious ribs. He bragged they were the best. Absolutely!!! Kelvin loved people.

Kelvin was loved by all and will truly be missed. We will miss his cheesy smile, conversing about his car, our mother, his money and him trash talking. So little brother, rest in peace. God’s got you and say hello to your best friend (mom).

Polite of Hyde Park, MA; eight sisters: Barbara Lewis, Joyce Horsley, Cynthia Martin, Debra Horsley, Vertialee Collins, Veronica Horsley, Reola Horsley of Boston, MA, Kathryn Jules, of Federalsburg, MD; six brothers: Isiah Horsley of Bronx, NY, Charles Horsley, Harvey Horsley Jr., Lambert Horsley of Boston, MA, Oswald Horsley of Springfield, MA, David Horsley of Emporia, VA, and a host of nephews, nieces, family, and many friends.
