Joel Anthony Kluttz, “Joey” was born to Mary Rebecca Kluttz and Joseph Jolivet, August 23, 1963. He was born in Boston, MA. The youngest son of 8 children and the family’s ‘special Babyboy’.
Joel attended Boston Public schools. He enjoyed playing basketball, attending Boston Celtics games, and traveling. He also enjoyed bowling with family and friends. Joel had a zest for life, and you could always see him smiling and his distinct laughter was contagious. He loved music, and always wanted to hear Jay-Z. His favorite meal was Chinese food (lobster sauce) and fried chicken. He was very kindhearted and would do anything for you. Although he was sick and confined to a nursing home he was always in good spirits and loved talking to his family by way of video calls, until the Lord called him home on Mother’s Day, May 8, 2022.
Joey leaves behind to cherish his memories, his 6 sisters, Carole Major of Boston, M A, Malinda Ali of Boston, MA, Janice Kluttz of Hilton Head, SC, Paula (Carl) Campbell of Hilton Head, SC, Michelle Burnell of Charlotte, NC and Patricia Kluttz of Nashville, TN. Joel also leaves his nephews and cousins whom he was extremely close to and longtime friend Cassandra Gunther and a host of other relatives and friends.
