Jeffrey Alan Bailey, Jr.

December 25, 1993 ~ March 30, 2022 (age 28)

Jeffrey Alan Bailey, Jr. was born on December 25, 1993, in Boston, MA. The first-born son of Wanda and Jeffrey A. Bailey, Sr.

In 2001, he attended the Beethoven Elementary School for the first grade and then transferred to the Maria Hastings Elementary School. Jeffrey attended Lexington Middle School until 2008 and graduated from Lexington High School in June 2013.

As a child, Jeffrey was full of fun and always smiling. He was affectionately known as “Chubba” by his family for his chubby cheeks as a baby. He loved his knitted blanket given to him by his Auntie Carol and was known to walk around with it while sucking his two fingers.

When he was in his late teens, he met his future wife Katya Giller and they married in 2017 in Boston, MA. Their son Jeffrey Alan Bailey, III was born the same year.

Jeffrey loved his son deeply, and spending time with him brought him immense joy and laughter. They enjoyed reading and drawing together, playing with toy cars, dinosaurs and even wrestling. Of all those things, giving his son big hugs was his favorite.

As an adult, Jeffrey did not believe there was an age limit on having fun. He loved to draw and enjoyed building Lego figurines. His favorite movies were The Neverending Story, Madagascar and Toy Story. He truly lived by the theme song of Toy Story and was a friend to everyone he met. His warm smile, kind heart and infectious laugh would light up any room. He was full of energy and always on the go.

He is predeceased by his grandparents Elbert and Lee Anna Johnson, Fannie Johnson, and great-grandmother Sarah Johnson.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife Katya, his son Jeffrey Alan Bailey, III, his parents Jeffrey A. Bailey, Sr. and Wanda L., his siblings Gabrielle A., Justin A., India C., Francisco, Xavier, stepmother Karen and step-grandmother, Armer Huyghue, a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Jeffrey was a loving father, son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
