James Williams was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 22, 1949 to the late Charles W. Williams and the late Grace Williams.
James grew up in Academy Homes in Roxbury, MA and attended Boston Public Schools. He attended Boston English High School, where he excelled academically and was a very talented artist. Even though James never had children of his own, he loved children and worked many years as a paraprofessional at Children's World Educational Centers.
James was a very family oriented person that loved to attend family gatherings where he loved to play cards, dance, and tell and laugh at his own jokes.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Richard Williams.
James leaves to mourn his sisters Millie and Dianna Williams, brother Ernest (Leice) Williams. Nephews: Tarick, Khalif, Ben, Wesley. One niece Lashanda Banks. He is also survived by a loving host of great-nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, friends and one special friend Darlene Jones.
