Brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and all around avid fisherman, James Ferriabough,70, gave himself to God on Saturday, May 21 at 1am but left his spirit here with his family and friends who will love and adore him forever.
He faced every crises in his life with the same spirit, often overcoming them with his courage, a beautiful personality, a kind heart and a generous soul. He was a liver transplant survivor for more than 15 years, besting the average survival rate. His family wishes to thank Dr. Michael Curry and the Beth Israel transplant family, Dr. Heckman, and all who brought him comfort at Beth Israel. And in his final days, Allcare hospice.
James loved his family more than anything and they loved him, gathering to celebrate him and lift his spirits on his last birthday on March 13.
He is predeceased by son James (pooh bear) who together with the recent passing of his mother, Lola, broke his heart.
His leaves his siblings sister Joyce, always by his side, brother Leon and Sylvia and his wife of 47 years, Johnnie, and family: Eddie, Rassahn, Leah, Nadia , James (Jaime) Hunt, Victoria (Vickie) and Alfred (Alfie). Alfie helped take care of his father with wife johnnie and sister Joyce till he went on his journey to meet the Big fisherman in the sky. He loved his 27 beautiful grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and his many nephews and nieces. All brought him great joy.
