James H. Anderson {Boxer} was born to the late Raphael and Vicenta Anderson on January 12,1953 in Mocho Clarendon Jamaica.
In February of 1981 Boxer left Jamaica and came to New York to start a new life. When he got of the plane the weather was cold and none of the trees had any leaves on them which made him want to get right back on a plane to Jamaica because he absolutely did NOT want to live in a place where all the trees were dead.
Once he came to Boston he obtained his CDL license and drove truck for a living: He always said he was going to drive until he was 90 years old.
One of the things Boxer enjoyed doing was cooking and he was proud of his cooking skills. On any given day you could count on him to cook a delicious meal for friends and family using the fresh vegetables from one of his several gardens in the Boston area: He was nicknamed the callaloo man because he had the best callaloo in the city.
Boxer was an outgoing person he loved children, he was an excellent cook, dancer and gardener.
Boxer's life will be remembered by his children: Tyrone, Orrett, Charlina and Natalee. His sisters: Helen, Velma, Gradle, Norva, Sadie and Louise. His brothers: Donald, Rolin and Calda. He will also be remembered by his 9 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins other family members and friends, and life companion Thais and her 4 children.
