Gregory Moore Obituary

Gregory Moore, Sunrise 3/29/68 Sunset 2/3/23, It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I report the untimely passing of Gregory Moore at the age of 54.Gregory was born to both late Curtis Moore Gainesville North Carolina and Isabelle Moore of Memphis Tennessee, in Boston Massachusetts on March 29, 1968. Gregory was the third child of five created off that union. Gregory attended Jeremiah Burke high school; during his studies Gregory pastime hobbies included dancing and playing basketball which quickly propelled him thru his studies in the 80’s & 90’s .Gregory was well-known and respected for his character, integrity, and strong community ties, which positively influenced his passion as a barber and a way to serve the same communities he grew up in. Gregory was a private, strong-willed individual that knew exactly what he wanted, and the number of steps he would take to obtain it, even if he was faced with obstacles that didn’t distract him from strongly displaying his best attributes to the ones that knew him and the ones he truly loved -with his humor., Humor was mandatory for Gregory for his laugh was highly contagious and the time experienced was always a great time when family gathered;this was one he was dedicating to keep the same energy for humor was always included phone conversations as well, which could've been in a short span of time it was still expected to get a chuckle or two from him. Gregory was and always will be an amazing soul we all experienced. Gregory shared many memories, and great accomplishments with his wife Courie Moore sLasagna and baked Macaroni and cheese were his favorite dishes she would prepare for him. Gregory’s love towards Courie, had been a great grand journey with fun young travel memories to real marriageable  growth understanding companion and finally the blessing of their daughter Paris! Gregory would want to be remembered in likeness of what he truly reflected, private- best moments shared with his family and friends, and to the ones who have experienced him, know him as Greg, and many childhood friends know him as Pue or Sleepy but to a total of 5 of us he was known as our father... “Daddy” and we loved him dearly., Gregory was known for his charismatic character and for his tasteful style in clothing. Gregory was one who truly expressed himself in the many styles of clothing he wore and depending on the time of day this would equate to what he was wearing and most definitely illustrated how he was feeling. , A great soul altogether that never wanted to be perfect but practicality was everything he embodied, and the very last thing he would truly want to be remembered for!, Gregory survived by his wife Courie L. Moore., Gregory leaves behind four beautiful children:, Marcia Moore, Gregory Moore, Eric Fussell, and Paris L. Moore. Gregory also leaves behind brothers Curtis Moore Jr., Scott Moore, and Brian Moore., Gregory was predeceased by his son Gregory Fussell-Moore., Gregory was also predeceased by both parents Curtis Moore Sr., Isabelle Moore, and sister Rose Moore., Gregory leaves behind several grandchildren, nephews and extended family.
