Maurice Boyd, 41 was born in Boston, MA on July 26th, 1975 to Mary Austin and Gene Saunders.
Maurice also affectionately known as "Moe" was a very kind, loving, God fearing man. He was a very dependable person who would do anything for you he could. His heart was big to a fault sometimes but that didn't stop him from being Moe. His passion for forgiveness was unapparelled and that's what set him apart from the rest. He didn't worry about himself, he worried about his kids, family and friends. Even when he was in pain he still found a way to make someone laugh.
Maurice loved the Lord with all his heart and by the way he won on all those scratch tickets the Lord felt the same way about him. Maurice like to look what he called "fresh". Moe's style was smooth, always patting his hair making sure it looked perfect and always making sure his clothes were neatly pressed, he had what we called finesse.
On Wednesday, April 26th, 2017 he was called home to be another angel in God's Kingdom. He leaves to cherish his memory his father Talibah Salih; his stepfather David HalfKenny; his children: Marquis, Laura Ashley, Maurice Jr., Breyana, Takai, Londyon, Kamuri; brother: Bakuma (Sharon), sisters: Brandy, Muriel, Dasha, Melanie, step brothers: Damien, Damarco; step sisters: Satara, Damika and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends that will miss him very much but will always remember his smile, sense of humor and his great sense of style.
To say Gene Maurice Boyd will be greatly missed would be an understatement because words cannot describe the pain we feel but we know that God has gained another angel and that he suffers no more and so we'll take comfort in that. So Maurice until we meet again we love you, we love you, we love you and we'll see you when we get there.
