Eljon was born into a BIG family with 18 brothers and sisters. 8 girls, 10 Boys, He was adored by all his siblings and had a special relationship with every one of them. Eljon LOVED his family, no matter the circumstances he ALWAYS tried to help in any situation the best he could.
As a kid, he was silly with an invincible personality that followed him all the way into adulthood
Eljon graduated from Madison Park high school and went on to attend Mass Bay Community College. In 1992, Eljon pursued a career as a Correctional Officer for Suffolk County Sheriff's Department, representing Unit 419, which he proudly served for 25 years. He was well respected in the institution and throughout their community. Eljon worked at Randolph Public Schools where he coached Basketball and Football. Eljon lived a BIG life despite being taken from us too soon. He had an infectious personality that made everyone love him even if you just met him. He gave the best hugs that just made you feel so loved and safe. Even in the worst situations he found a way to make you laugh. He was a GREAT cook!!! When Big E was having a cookout you wanted to be on the invitation list.
