Obituary

Beloved Sister, Aunt and Friend

Elayne Young, 66, died unexpectedly July 25, 2022 at home. She was born August 20th, 1955 in Boston. She was the daughter of Lula and Henry Young.

She went to the Jeremiah Burke High School and later excelled academically getting a masters in business from Emmanuel college. She put this to good use as an executive at Verizon where she rose through the ranks.

She later worked for the MBTA where she was known for her involvement in union activities.

She was well loved by all those who she graced with her presence. Her thoughtfulness and concern for her fellow employees is evidenced by the many people who shared

condolences years after she retired.

She leaves three brothers, Howard of California, Hugh of New York and Larry of Michigan. She also leaves nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
