On November 18, 2021, Eduardo S. Henry lovingly known by his family as Way-Way passed away at the age of 73.
Born a Gemini on May, 22nd of 1948, he was the oldest of 6 children. Preceded by his daughter, Ada Elizabeth Bruce-Robinson, he is survived by his daughters Sandra Elizabeth Bruce and Jessica Elizabeth Bruce-Courson, his mother Elena Bennett, his 5 siblings Mrs. Laura Jones, Mrs. Evedelia Edwards, Mrs. Martha Trotty, Ms. Claudina Bennett and Mr. Ricardo Bennett, his 4 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Eduardo was a security guard at the Mildred C. Hailey Apartments formerly known as Bromley-Heath until he retired several years ago. He went on to work part time at the Salvation Army Croc Center while attending then graduating from their Culinary Arts Training Program.
Eduardo, known to his friends as Panama and Flaco, was well known and loved in his community. He was part of the Panamanian Association, played softball, loved math, politics, puzzles, music and playing cards and dominos with friends. He was a gentle giant who showed his love through food. His famous Easter bun, Christmas fruit cake, souse and fish cakes will truly be missed.
Eduardo touched so many lives and we will always carry his memory in our hearts.
