Obituary

Douglas N. Pendarvis also known as “The Godfather of Boxing” of Boston, died on April 10, 2022 after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Pendarvis, loving wife, Charlotte Pendarvis and daughter, Germaine Stokes (Michael). Loving father of Dwaila Nozil, Sakeena Piersaint (Adler), Sadika Pendarvis, Antone Paiva Pendarvis (Rosie) and Douglas Pendarvis Walker. He was the cherished son of Marie Pendarvis. Dear brother of Haroon Rashid, Cynthia Pendarvis, Virgil Pendarvis, Kenard Pendarvis and Joe Pendarvis. He is also survived by thirteen (13) grandchildren, eight (8) great grandchildren, a very extended family and a host of friends.
