Doris Jordan-Smith

Doris “Sister” Jordan – Smith of Mattapan, MA passed away peacefully January 4, 2023, at the age of 83.

Sister was born in Giddings, TX on October 1, 1939, to her parents Minnie “Ma” Jordan and Gideon “Pa” Jordan. She lived most of her life, with zest, in Roxbury and Mattapan, MA.

She leaves her son by marriage, Ra-Shaun Smith of Boston; brother Robert “Joe” Jordan and his wife Joanne of Marlboro; a niece Jennifer Jordan of Hudson and many family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Rosie’s Place, Boston, MA.

Religious service will be held Monday, January 30, 2023, at 11am at Davis Funeral Home, 654 Cummings Highway Mattapan, Ma 02126. Burial will be private.
