Deloris King was born to Jacob King and Lela McClain, on December 30th 1960 Boston, Massachusetts. Deloris would live to be a lifelong Bostonian. Graduation from English high school and job-core. Her education would give her the knowledge to work in the medical field as a nurse’s assistant and a phlebotomist. Working at both Beath Israel hospital and Dimock health center.
Deloris was an avid reader. Usually in the category of urban fiction. She inherited her fathers’ green thumb and love of gardening. Deloris was known to have an army of house plants and vines growing around her homes. She knew a million stories and would have told a million people if giving the chance. She was a loving mother and doting grandmother. A lover of family dinners and family get-togethers.
Deloris is survived by her sons Clarence Perkins-King, Demounte Perkins-King and step son Clarence Perkins. Her grandchildren, I.Ron Roggers, Josia Dubose, Jaelyn King and Lonnell King. Her sisters Jean Brewster, Earlean Perryman-Young. Brothers, Lee Perryman, James Perryman, Michael Robinson, Chris King, Wayne King, Lorenseo King and Cedric King.
She follows to heaven her late husband Clarence Perkins. Both her parents Jacob King and Lela McClain. Her daughter Chantaylor Perkins-King and her brother Kenny Robinson.
