Dale U Steele was born in Autagaville Alabama to the late Jimmie Louis and Bertha M Steele. He was educated in the Autaugaville County Training school in Autaugaville, Alabama
In 1977, Dale enlisted in the United States Navy where he served for four years. He relocated to Boston Mass in 1982 and later relocated to Tulsa Oklahoma where he married Detra Dennis and to this union are two sons, Darren and Dayron whom Dale loved dearly.
Dale loved church and was a member of St. Matthew Baptist church in Selma Alabama. Dale visited many churches in Boston but his favorite was New Mt. Calvary Worship and Praise Tabernace where his Brother-in law, Bishop David Wilson and Co-Pastor Lucile are the Pastors.
Dale worked in the Construction Business, he was a professional Dry Wall Specialist and a Truck Driver.
Dale had a wonderful sense of humor, he loved making people laugh, he loved traveling, fishing, reading, and writing. He started writing a book but did not complete it.
His siblings Barbara, Emma, and Jimmie Jr. preceded his demise. He leaves a devoted and loving family to cherish his memory: 4 Sisters: Bertha C Tolver (AC. Tolver) of Selma Alabama, Lucile Wilson (David)of Boston Mass., Bessie Liggons of Spring Hill Tennessee, Pinkey Hayes (Larry) of Fisher Indiana, 4 Brothers: Solomon Steele (Denise) of Autaugaville Alabama, Albert Steele(Alma) of Montgomery Alabama, Apostle Jerome Steele (Youland)of Tulsa Oklahoma, Willie Steele (Shameka) of Tulsa Oklahoma. His Wife, Detra Dennis Steele, 2 sons: Darren and Dayron Steele of Boston Ma. 2 Daughters: Danielle U Steele of Los Angel California, Mya Hockenberry (William) of South Carolina, 2 grandchildren: Cameron Hockenberry and Courtney Hockenberry both of South Carolina and a host of nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins that he loved very much.
