Daisy L. Howard

Daisy Lee Howard was born December 30th, 1940, to David and Rosie Lee Howard of Hannon Alabama. She grew up in Hurtsboro, Alabama, where she graduated from Russell County Training school and later graduated from the Fanny Farmer Cooking School. She would later relocate to Boston, Ma, where she would begin her career as a cook.

Daisy spent many years as the head cook of Trinity Church and Old South Church, then retiring from Associated Day Care. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Cross Parish, where she attended Sunday Mass until her health began to fail her.

She loved to cook for family and friends, and she was known for her "Collard Greens." Her smile and generous spirit will forever hold true for all who loved her.  She loved spending time with her sister's shopping, and she adored her grandson Jared Mosley. She loved listening to the Blues until her final days. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Rosie Lee and David Howard, two sisters Ernestine Howard and Ollie Mae Harris.

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Teresa Mosley(fiancé Mark Jones) of Boston, MA, son Kenneth Howard of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and grandson Jared Mosley of Boston, MA. Three brothers Royzell (Mary) Howard of Ormond Beach Fl, Leroy Howard, and Lee Henry (Lynne) Howard of Boston, MA. Three sisters Flora Mae Howard, Thelma Puckett of Boston, MA, and Gladys Thomas of Atlanta, GA.  Along with a host of family and friends.

Loving Mother and Friend...She will be greatly missed.
