Celeste Webster Obituary

Celeste Jefford, whose first name means “Heavenly” was born on October  19, 1942, to the late Civy and Annette Jefford,  in Guanaja, Honduras, Central America.

Celeste and  Daniel Webster got married in 1968 and started a new chapter of her life as Celeste Webster.  She migrated to the United States of America with the goal to help her family back in Honduras.  With that goal in mind, she did everything she could to support her family.  During those early years,  she obtained her High School Diploma after which she pursued computer classes for which she obtained a Certificate.  Celeste was an extensive traveler, who traveled to several countries all over the world including Israel which was her favorite place.

Celeste was a member of The First Church of God where she served the Lord and grew spiritually.  She was one who made it her duty to share the word of God with everyone she met, she was an evangelist at heart, who loved the Lord and made every effort to serve him with all her heart.  She was committed to helping others not only her immediate family but everyone with whom she came in contact.  She was an encourager, a prayer warrior, who lived and walked by faith and trusted the Lord to meet all her needs and those of others.  She was committed to her family, friends, and the body of Christ and it was her greatest desire that everyone would acknowledge the Lord and come to know Him as their personal Lord and Savior.  Generosity was her middle name, she would always share whatever she had, and it did not matter how big or small, she would always give to everyone and never expected anything in return.

Celeste will be truly missed by many friends and relatives from far and near and will never be forgotten. She has been promoted to her Celestial Home where she is now forever with the Lord. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of saints”. Psalm 116:15.

Left to cherish her memories are her three children Steve, Roy, and Jeanine, her favorite daughter-in-law Steve’s wife Vanseal, her three grandchildren Steve’s daughters Teresa and Fanny and Roy’s son, Tre’von, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  Her sisters, Alda Jefford, Laura Jefford, Ana Jefford, and her brother, Hanford Jefford.  Her late siblings, were sisters, Vedell Fredrick, and Diana Grant, and brothers, Costar and Robert Jefford.  Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and countless cousins and friends.
