Celeste Myrene Sargeant-Peters

Celeste Myrene Sargeant-Peters, age 67 of St. Andrew, Barbados,  Boston, MA and Bowie, MD passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. She was born to the late Oliver and Elfreida Belgrave Sargeant on September 17, 1951. 

She was a Sister to her brothers Carol Hinkson and the late Kenwin Sargeant, Sisters the late Thelma Ash and Sheila Belgrave. Sister in law Carrie Sargeant, Esther Hinkson, and Brother in law the late Earl Ash. 

Myrene is survived by her Daughter Tamara Simmons, Sons Leroy Goodman and Timothy Simmons, Step Daughters Latiya and Damali, Daughter in law Lisa Simmons. Grand Children Julia, Charisma, Leroy Jr., Carlee, Amirah, Maya, Zora, Milea, Riley, Daisia, Kyla, Carmen, Thomas, and two more on the way. Many Nephews and nieces, cousins, and friends. Special recognition to Clyde Belgrave, Kenneth Belgrave, and the Professionals at the JB Jenkins Funeral Home and the Davis Funeral Home. 

The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days. For those who have known Myrene in her fruitful journey with us, her graveside service will be held at St. Michael Cemetery, Boston, MA. Flowers and memorial donations may be sent to the Church of the Holy Spirit, 525 River Street, Mattapan, MA.  The funeral service will be held on January 5, 2019, at 10 am.
