Catherine E. Daly

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Catherine Elizabeth Daly also known as Beth Bramble originally of The Pond, Harris Village, Montserrat but last resided in Mattapan, Massachusetts, USA.  She was the wife of Alfred “Weebee” Daly who preceded her in death. She died in Massachusetts on 23 March 2021. Catherine leaves to mourn Her daughters Mrs. Joycelyn Sweeney in Dorchester, Massachusetts, Ruby Daly in London, Son Terry Daly in London, Son in law Arnold Sweeney in Dorchester, Massachusetts, Daughter in law Claire in London, Grandson Duane (Gareth) Sweeney and his wife Charrette in Massachusetts, Granddaughters Roisin and Angeline in London, Great granddaughters Damaris, D’Lani and Danaya Great-great grandchildren Aria and Enzo in Massachusetts, Step-daughter Cathleen & her husband George Puckey Herbert in Florida and their children Jacintha, Lenroy, Phylistine in Massachusetts and Vonaire in Chicago, Stepson William (Steadman) Daly in Massachusetts, One surviving brother James Farrell in Olveston, Montserrat Sisters Vernadine Harris and Thora Samuel in England, Brother in law Tom Bass in England, Sisters in law Mrs. Ann Welch, Mrs. Gwen Charles in Massachusetts, Mrs. Jeanette Farrell in England, and Mrs. Rosalind ‘Tyra’ Ryan in Montserrat, Nieces – Rachel in Canada, Iotha, Yvette and Orallie in Massachusetts, Ivalene, Loretta, Monique, Natisha, Nadine and Ajanea in England, Sharon in Antigua and Vernitha in Montserrat. Nephews – Leon, Rowan, Elvette, Steve and David in Massachusetts, Derek in New York, Laban in Spain, Azel Alfred, Osric, Ronald, Adrian, Terence, Bill, Carlton, Orville, Andy, Anthony, Robert, Julius and Kimane in England and Theodore Leroy in Montserrat. Cousin James Meade and family in Canada. Very close friends – Theresa Knight, Gladys Scott, Pauline Addison and Cynthia Daley who shared in her birthday tea parties, Mary Chambers Tom & Vera Sweeney in Massachusetts Mrs. Gwen Allen in Atlanta, Martha Harris, Peter, Joan and Margaret Cabey in London, Clackie Skerrit in Canada, Nadine & Athill Tuitt in Montserrat and many many more friends and relatives in other states in America, Canada, London and Montserrat.

Attorney – Joanna Morris who gave selflessly of her time and expertise.

Gratitude and God’s blessings to all who assisted with Catherine’s care. Her home care including Josepha Fenton and Sherry Morris, Physicians, healthcare workers including the group at the Atrium at Faxon Woods in Quincy and those from Seasons Hospice Care. Those who assisted in visitation and prayer including Church of the Holy Spirit - Catherine’s place of worship, Faith Christian Church Prayer group, Pastor Ruth and Husband Raymond (relative) and many others who called and visited.

Mrs. Daly was very kind and warm hearted and will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched.
