Brian was born in Boston Massachusetts to the late Richard Furtado, Sr., and Ruth (Alleyne) Furtado on June 12, 1962. He went home to be with the Lord peacefully on April 21, 2023.
Brian grew up in Boston MA frequenting the Academy Homes, Bromley Heath and the Egleston Station area to check on his peeps which is what he called his family.
Brian was a kind and caring soul and when he said I got you best believe he had you. He loved and respected everyone and in return love and respect was given to him.
Brian was a fashionable dresser and every time you saw him, he was matched from head to toe with his Adidas sweat suit, top-ten adidas sneakers, and hat to match.
In the 1980’s he met the love of his life Angie Cherry and they became inseparable, to the point where she picked up on Brian’s style of fashion and when you saw them, they were always matching.
From this union, they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl Tubryah Marie Cherry on July 3, 2002, who was also the love of his life.
Brian’s way of showing his appreciation or love for you was expressed in his love to clean. He would clean anything for you without being asked to.
Brian loved dancing and singing and every time you saw him, he was either singing, dancing or both, he was always the life of the party.
Brian will be missed by many.
He is preceded in death by his siblings Lily Pearl Bishop and Ruthann Furtado.
He leaves to cherish his memories his precious daughter Tubryah Marie Cherry. His last surviving uncle George Furtado, his siblings Jean Furtado, Barbara Gaul, Richard Furtado, Jr., Harold Furtado, Henry Furtado, Karen Furtado, Roger Furtado, (Jacqueline) and Millie Furtado.
