Beverly A. Goodridge was born October 25, 1953 in Boston, Ma to the late Carter D. Kimbrel and Bernice Kimbrel. She departed this life on July 18, 2020.
Beverly was blessed to have enjoyed her life in many ways. She was an avid traveler and relished in her many destinations several times over such as Barbados, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Bahamas, New York, California and Maryland to name a few.
Beverly was talented and gifted with a beautiful melodious voice. Her singing was a treat for the ears to behold. She thoroughly enjoyed shopping and absolutely adored pocketbooks, jewelry, shoes and electronic gadgets. She was lovingly referred to as ‘the bag lady’ especially because she treasured her menagerie of pocketbooks. Beverly cared with devotion for her family, home, pets and plants which rewarded her with life’s simple pleasures and enjoyment.
Beverly was educated in the Boston Public Schools and attended Hyde Park High School. Additionally, she went on to obtain supplemental education which assisted in her career as a Paraprofessional and substitute teacher. Beverly enjoyed caring for children and was a Certified Daycare Provider. She loved all of these accomplishments, but most of all she loved her family dearly. Her husband, children and grandchildren brought her continuous joy!
Beverly leaves to cherish her memory - husband Fred Goodridge, sons Terrence Goodridge and Trent Goodridge, grandchildren Terrence Goodridge, Trent (Trento) Goodridge, Jr, Avianna Goodridge and a host of family and friends.
