Barbara Ann Jones came into the world on May 28, 1933, Washington, D.C. She was the 2nd oldest from the union of Reverend Clyde Green and St. Clair Hampton Green. Barbara attended District of Columbia Public School System. Barbara graduated from Martha Washington High School. Marrying in 1950 to Ben Jones out of the union came two beloved sons, Reggie and Stevie. Then going on to continue her education at Cambridge College where she received her Bachelor's degree. Barbara did not stop there, still continuing on her educational career at North Eastern where she received her Master's degree, in Nursing. She put her education to very good use, working in the Boston school system, retiring after many years. Barbara had a zeal and a zest for life like no other. She had many hobbies, on the top of the list was traveling. She has traveled to places most only dream about. Barbara loved to dance and had a flair for fashion. She also loved good seafood and loved to bowl. Barbara was a lifelong member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Barbara was predeceased by her sister Juanita Norris of Zanesville, Ohio and brother Clyde Green,Jr. of Washington, D.C. She is survived and will be sorely missed by sons Reggie Jones and Stevie Jones. Grandchildren Nicole and Stevie Jr. Great granddaughter, Sarai. Sister Zenobia Carolyn McKoy, Nephew Juan Green, wife Cassandra Green. Niece Yolanda McLean. Wonderful friend, Sharon. Also a hosts of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
