Awilda (Rivera) Velasquez

Awilda Velasquez, 77, of Roxbury, passed away on July 10, 2019.  Awilda was born to parents Arturo and Aurelia Rivera, on April 29, 1942 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico.

She enjoyed family gatherings. Holiday parties alongside her loved ones. Fishing trips, dancing to her favorite Puerto Rican music, it was never a dull moment by her side. Awilda enjoyed all her children and grandchildren to the fullest.

Awilda is survived by her sons Roberto Velasquez & Anibal Santos, Jr. and daughters Maria Del Carmen Velasquez, Migdalia Yvette Velasquez (deceased), Nancy Velasquez (deceased) & Emilia Yolanda Velasquez.  Also, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
