Apollos Samuel Longin, age 34, of Boston passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2021 due to illness.
He was born March 23, 1987 to Samuel Jean Longin and Marlene Longin in Boston, Massachusetts. He was the youngest of three children. Apollos graduated from Dorchester High School in 2006. He went on to further his studies at Bunker Hill Community College.
Apollos pursued careers that exemplified the way he lived his life. Whether it was providing safety or escort as a security officer or more recently, a senior maintenance technician at Valvoline. He was always willing and eager to help others who are in need even leading up to his untimely passing.
His interests included family gatherings, traveling, and talking about the Boston sports scene. He brought so much joy to his family and friends with that unmatched smile and laugh that we all come to know and love. We will hold the memories and moments of his personality, charm, and generosity in our hearts forever. He remains loved by all who was fortunate enough to know him and will truly be missed.
He is survived by mother Marlene Longin, father Samuel Jean Longin, brother Elysee Longin sister Magdala Benjamin, brother in law Troy Benjamin, nieces Makayla and Naliah Benjamin; and a host of other relatives and friends.
