Annette Mervin, age 62, of Boston, MA, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2023, surrounded by family and loved ones.
She was born December 26, 1961, to the union of Jessie Mae Mervin and Robert Mervin Sr (deceased). Annette grew up in Bluffton, South Carolina, where she attended H.E. Mccracken High School. She later moved to Boston, MA, in the early 80s to pursue a career in hospitality. Annette was employed at various companies in the hospitality industry.
She was a lover of good food, music, and dancing. She genuinely cared about people having a good time and being served well. She enjoyed family time, Texas westerns, and action/criminal investigative shows.
Her siblings, Robert Mervin Jr. and Ethel Marie Ford, preceded her in death. She is survived by a loving life partner, David Perry; her three daughters, Telesha Mervin, Lamekia Mervin, and Amatullah Mervin-Sip, her siblings Kenneth Simmons, George Brown, James Mervin Sr., Juanita Mervin, Alfred Mervin, Cynthia Mervin-Fields and Jonathan Mervin; her grandchildren Janessa Alston, Jakhai Mervin-Blevins, Janaya Mervin-Blevins, Gregory Burnett Jr. and great-grandchild Zyler Kingsley Mervin Lafontant.
Annette Mervin is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
