Willie Ann Wilson was born April 19th, 1943 to the Late William & Mary Ellen (Robinson) Bell in Columbia, SC. At an early age, Willie accepted Christ into her life and was educated in South Carolina Public schools before meeting the love of her life, Booker T. Wilson in the spring of 1961. Marrying in Brooklyn, NY in 1963, the pair would go on to share over 60 years of marriage and father four beautiful children, Vernon, Valerie, Brian and the late Larry Wilson. Willie began her career as a Medical Assistant at the historic Columbia Point Health Center where her compassion and love for community work would be felt for many years.

As an enterprising and passionate woman, Willie would attend the Wilford Academy School of Cosmetology in 1981. Her love for hair would lead to many laughter filled nights with clients, friends and family alike in her home studio. While Willie had many hobbies, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, and shopping.

Highly respected by her peers for her character, charisma and work ethic, Willie is warmly remembered as a beloved mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend to everyone she was blessed to cross paths with.

In addition to her parents, Willie is preceded in death by her sisters Bessie Mae, Inez Bell and her eldest son Larry Wilson. Willie is survived by her beloved husband Booker T. Wilson; her children Vernon (Monica), Valerie (Jackie) and Brian (Janita); 7 grandchildren, two great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, her "BFF" Dot and many friends of the family.
