Deacon Willie J. Axson of Mattapan, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 10, 2024. Willie lived a full life of love, faith and service as an ordained Deacon, iron worker, husband, father, son and brother. He is survived by his daughters, siblings, nieces and nephews, faith community and many more who knew and loved him.

A funeral service celebrating Willie's life and legacies will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the Peoples Baptist Church of Boston, 830 Tremont Street, Boston, MA.
