Wayne Sloan Nance of Boston, Massachusetts departed this life on February 14th, 2025. Wayne  was born to Mildred Nance and the late Frank Sloan on January 19th, 1958 in Laurinburg, North Carolina.

After graduating high school, Wayne worked for RCA for many years which explains his fixation for televisions, music equipment, and technology. These experiences developed his passion for music.

Wayne would often spend his time creating new surround sound systems that allowed music to radiate any surface it was illuminating from. This genuinely brought him joy.

Wayne's most cherished accomplishment was the relationship with his daughter Monique Nance and grandchildren.

He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends creating wholesome memories. He especially enjoyed holding intellectual conversations that often lead to politics and teaching history to those around him.

Wayne leaves to mourn his nurturing mother, Mildred Nance and his loving daughter Monique Nance. Also, his two grandchildren, Shawnyce Nance and Deshawn Hodge Jr. His two loving sisters Lachelle Barton and Pamela Val.

Wayne also leaves a host of nephew's, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends to cherish his memories. He will always be loved and remembered by his family and friends.
